LAS VEGAS (NBC, KYMA/KECY) – Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz held a campaign rally in Las Vegas on Saturday.

During the campaign, the duo visited states where the elections are still uncertain, such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona.

Harris’ protest comes after she received the support of the Culinary Workers Union on Friday.

Both officials delivered speeches to enthusiastic supporters, criticizing former President Donald Trump’s campaign and promising to prioritize working-class people.

“Back and forth and again, Donald Trump made decisions to weaken this country to strengthen his hand. He mocked our laws. He saw division and chaos among our citizens. And that’s not to mention his record as president.

And I said it, I want to make it clear. I didn’t call anyone names. I’ve spent enough years in that lunchroom to know a bully when I see one. I just made a very clear observation that they seem to be really concerned about. I pointed out that taking away reproductive freedoms, banning books, raising the price of domestic insulin, trying to hurt unions. Nobody’s asking for that crazy nonsense. Nobody’s asking for it.”

“We know this is going to be a neck-and-neck race until the end. So let’s not pay too much attention to the polls, because we still have some hard work ahead of us. But we like hard work. Hard work is good.

Unlike Donald Trump, I will always promise you that you will put the middle class and working families first, because you see, Tim Miles and I may not seem like we have much in common, but we have so much in common. And I’ll tell you what he and I know, the middle class built the United States of America.”
