Die von Stieg Larsson eigentlich auf zehn Bände ausgelegte Millennium–Trilogie – «Verblendung» (2006), «Verdammnis» (2007) und «Vergebung» (2008) were released posthumously – but not yet in Buchform ein grosser Erfolg. Die Kriminalromane was made into a film in 2009. Michael Nyqvist (1960–2017, “John Wick”) plays Blomkvist and Noomi Rapace (44, “Sherlock Holmes”) sees war as Salander. «Verblendung» was filmed in 2011 by US director David Fincher (61, «House of Cards»), who starred Daniel Craig (56, «James Bond») and Rooney Mara (39, «Her»).
