GMG provides update on commercialization of energy-saving coating THERMAL-XR(R) Page 1

Brisbane, Queensland, Australia–(Newsfile Corp. – August 19, 2024) – Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd. (TSXV: GMG) (“GMG” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide a business update on the progress of the commercialization of THERMAL-XR® Powered by GMG Graphene.

GMG and Nu Calgon have signed an agreement with a consultant to prepare and file a Pre-Manufacture Notice (PMN) for their products. United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval for import and sale in the U.S., as previously announced in the THERMAL-XR® resubmission. The PMN application is expected to be filed before the end of October and potential approval is expected to take less than 12 months. The PMN will differ significantly from the Low Volume Exemption (LVE) PMN that GMG previously filed. The potential PMN EPA approval that GMG will seek is not expected to be limited by volume, application, and a particular industry, whereas the LVE PMN application was limited to 10 tons per year, one application technique, and the HVAC industry.
