48 Blitz Preview: Florence

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) – The Florence Falcons are competing for a Class 7A Region 4 title with the 2024 season approaching.

Third-year head coach Kenny Morson is aiming to reach his third postseason with the program.

“I’m really excited about pushing for a Region Championship,” Morson said. “We’ve let it slip away two years in a row by just a handful of plays. We want to get over that hump. Regionals are important, which gives us home-field advantage all the way to the playoffs, which makes that task a little easier.”

The Florence Falcons open the 2024 High School Football season on August 23 against Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa.
