CALGARY, Alberta, Aug. 20, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Enerflex Ltd. (TSX: EFX) (NYSE: EFXT) (“Enerflex” or the “Company”) today provided an update on a modularized cryogenic natural gas processing facility in Kurdistan (the “EH Cryo Project”).

As previously announced, and in response to a drone attack on April 26, 2024, which resulted in fatalities at an operational facility near the EH Cryo project, Enerflex notified its client of a force majeure, suspended operations at the project site, and demobilized its personnel. Since then, Enerflex has worked with its client to evaluate the situation and assess potential options to complete the project, despite the prevailing security situation at the project site.
