200 Level Lady in Ekiti State University Re-writes JAMB because she did not like her subject

• A lady who wanted to study medicine got admission into Ekiti State University for another course
• She was admitted to study forestry, but she did not like the study and she wanted to switch to medicine
• After 200 level, she decided to go back home and retake the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

A Nigerian woman wanted to study medicine at university, but she was admitted to another course.

The lady said that her children’s teacher had told her that she could switch to medicine while in school.

In a video she posted on TikTok, @dhemmielardey said she accepted the forestry offer.

“My children’s teacher in church then told me that I should accept that I would transfer to my preferred department when I joined the school (which was a big lie). I accepted the course, made friends with students from the medical college hoping that I would join them soon. My first semester result came in and I was in the top 3. I was so happy and studied hard for my second semester. Countless evening classes just to get my first class (because I was also told that if my CGPA is very strong, I would be able to transfer without any problem).”

The lady said that she had tried to transfer to medicine at level 200 but was unable to do so because the head of the department refused.

Her words:

“Only to have my HOD say, “How do you expect me to let one of my best students leave the department?” meaning he can’t sign the transfer letter I brought with me. The money was spent for 100l, and 200l is gone because Eksu is bloody expensive. I was so devastated that I decided to leave the school and go back to studying jamb.”

She went home, re-UTME and started again at Onabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye. She is now a graduate.

Lady passes all her subjects at university

A Nigerian lady graduated with a semester GPA of 5.0 after getting straight A’s in all her university subjects.

The lady, Ifeoluwa Ajetumobi, studied engineering and passed all subjects in her final year, including her project, with distinction.

Ifeoluwa said her mother was overwhelmed with joy when she saw her excellent performance at school.
