Robert Abela promises ‘historic’ tax cuts for middle class in budget

Prime Minister Robert Abela promised “historic” tax cuts for the middle class in the upcoming budget.

“The middle class is the backbone of our society, and this government has managed to expand it,” Abela said on ONE yesterday.

“Many people now feel part of the middle class, which is positive. In the upcoming budget

“We plan to deliver the biggest tax cut in history in the upcoming budget in October. Tax rates will be expanded in a way that will boost the middle class, a measure that will target this sector of hard-working people.”

“We felt we had to show something to give them courage and improve their quality of life.”
