AMD’s RDNA4 graphics cards debut in Geekbench – Hartware

AMD has been getting a new Radeon card based on the existing RDNA4 architecture frost for the first few years, but it is an example of a Geekbench listing. It was the first time the maker had brought the model to market and was interning functional features and testing tests.

The online database of Geekbench does not know the graphics card by name, under GFX1201. By the graphics card of the Radeon with RDNA3 (Radeon 7000 Series) IDs of the Series GFX11xx are graphics chips with RDNA3.5 internally integrated as GFX115x, the GFX1201 is strongly developed by the next generation.

If the test was performed on a used Geekbench system, a German badge for a compatibility test until the end of 2021 has become an Intel Core i7-12700F processor that has updated the benchmark record. If you no longer use the Geekbench specification, there is no doubt about the tapping frequencies and the fact that the benchmark results have improved.

Geekbench lists the new AMD graphics card as having 28 compute units, which in the fall were called “Work Group Processors” (WGP). There are 56 compute units and 3584 streaming processors available, which means AMD has not completed the RDNA4 architecture in the RDNA3 rendering.

Due to the graphics chip of the GFX1201 with a full 2101 MHz cycle, the total is lower than expected and the performance should not be representative at market introduction. With a capacity of 32,000 to 33,000, this graphics card can use a GeForce GTX 1650 and be used four times as a Radeon RX 7800 XT, which contains the RDNA4 card with a graphics card of 16 GB (with GDDR6).

If there are messages from AMD with an absolutely high-end device with an RDNA4 graphics card, then this is no longer possible in the upper mid-range. If you see that RDNA4 is not displayed by Ray-Tracing. When downloading the RDNA3 graphics card (Radeon RX 7000) from the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series, the RDNA4 German version was sold. For a serious hardware competition of Nvidia’s high-end graphics cards with GeForce RTX 4080 or 4090 and the following pages (Blackwell) with RDNA4 are not good. If there are more people, this can happen on RDNA5.
