Gladiator resumes drilling with two drilling rigs at Cowley Park Page 1

Highlights

  • Exploration has resumed with two drilling rigs on the high-grade Cowley Park copper deposit.
  • 5,000 m within a fully funded and planned 13,000 m summer drilling program is planned across 4 sections at Cowley Park, targeting both the potential of resources And
exploration up of high-quality copper skarn mineralization.
  • The drilling will test new, shallow, undrilled chargeability anomalies identified during recently completed Induced Polarization (IP) surveys. These anomalies may be associated with unrecognized copper sulphide bodies.
  • Last month ~2,500m was completed at the Little Chief and Arctic Chief prospects, intersecting significant breadths of copper-gold mineralisation. Assays pending.

Jason Bontempo, CEO of Gladiator, said:

“Following the successful completion of the Company’s $9 million private placement, Gladiator has commenced its fully funded 13,000m Phase 1 summer drill campaign, testing exploration targets and extensions of zones of known, high-grade copper skarn mineralisation to demonstrate the near-term potential of our key prospects, including Cowley Park, Arctic Chief, Best Chance and the Cub Trend.

Drilling has now commenced at Cowley Park with two diamond drill rigs testing both the potential benefits of known mineralisation and new, interesting drill targets identified from geological compilation work, mapping and induced polarisation geophysics.

Vancouver, British Columbia–(Newsfile Corp. – August 27, 2024) – Gladiator Metals Corp. (TSXV: GLAD) (OTCQB: GDTRF) (FSE: ZX7) (“Gladiator” or the “Company“) has now resumed drilling, with two drilling rigs targeting both the resource potential and exploration opportunities for high-grade copper skarn mineralisation at Cowley Park.

Cowley Park – Well and Exploration Drilling

The Resource program plans to place 4 systematic drill fences (Figure 1) at 120m-200m intervals throughout the known prospect area. Drilling at Cowley Park is planned to:

  • Confirm and test the continuity of high-grade copper mineralization near surface, as identified during previous drilling, for future definition of high-grade copper resources.
  • Test new shallow, undrilled, chargeability anomalies identified during recently completed Induced Polarization (IP) surveys, which may be associated with unrecognized copper sulfide bodies.
