Question:1 In the figure below, two concentric circles have center O. Their radii are R and (R + 6) cm, respectively.

Question 2 Vitthal took a long bike ride from his home to a nearby hill and back. The journey to the hill started with a flat road of 40 km and then a slope of 25 km.

When driving uphill, his average speed dropped by 10 km/h compared to the flat road, resulting in an additional half hour of travel time. However, he maintained the same average speed on the flat road in both directions.

i) Calculate the time required for Vitthal to reach the end of a 65 km uphill stretch.

ii) If it took him 2 1/2 hours to get home from the hill, find his average speed on the slope while descending. Show your work.

Study the information given and answer the questions below.

Bangalore city corporation is building parks in residential areas of the city. Below is one such park. The rectangular park consists of various components such as a walking path, a children’s playground, an open gym, a pond, etc.

Question 3 Gate 3 is placed exactly opposite gate 1 on the border of the park. The distance between gate 3 and gate 2 is 1 m more than the distance between gate 3 and gate 2. The shortest distance between gate 1 and 2 is 29 m, determine the width of the park. Show your work.

Question 4 The park manager is trying to plant saplings in the shape of a square. That is, the number of rows of saplings is the same as the number of columns of saplings. When he arranged the saplings, he found that he had 24 saplings left. When he increased the number of rows and columns by 1, he found that he was short of 25 saplings. Find the number of saplings he has available. Show your work.

Question 5 The municipality is planning to install a rectangular sand table as shown below for the children in the play area. The carpenter is asked to design a rectangular table with a length of three times its width and a surface area of ​​108 m2.
