The opening of these Christmas concerts took place in 1990 in the Schauspielhaus Berlin on the Gendarmenmarkt. There is a war going on with the first concert in reunited Germany! The overflow of country and winter activities takes place in a nocturnal royal house in the beeldbuch. The program includes Bach, Handel and Praetorius. The Tölzer Knabenchor led by Gerhard Schmidt-Garden, the choir of the Monche of Sagorsk by Matfej Mormyl and the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden by Ferdinand Leitner. Maria Graf, Doris Soffel, Siegfried Jerusalem, Jochen Kowalski and Hermann Prey sing as soloists. Founded in 1990 by Bob Rooyens.
