A SHOPPER was surprised when the cashier confirmed that a cheap moisturizer was an imitation of one of her favorite skin care products.

She rejoiced at the thought that she no longer had to use her $75 skin care kit “sparingly.”

She praised the affordable moisturizer on Reddit’s Trader Joe’s forum, which has more than 332,000 members.

In a photo she took at her local Trader Joe’s store, she showed a shelf full of the $7.99 product.

“Farmacy Honey Halo dupe! Honey Hydration Day & Night Cream Duo,” she said, writing under the name Comfortable_Flow_317.

“The Farmacy Honey Halo moisturizer is a sacred product in my skincare routine, especially during the colder months, but it’s so incredibly expensive that I use it sparingly.

“I was almost shocked when I saw this today and the cashier confirmed it was a knockoff of the Honey Halo moisturizer!

“I hope it works just as well, considering the price.”

REAL DEAL

Farmacy’s Honey Skin Duo has a 4.9-star rating on the brand’s website.

The $75 product contains a ceramide hydrating mask and moisturizer designed to “restore” dry skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

The mask is formulated with honey, apple extract and ceramides, which help protect the skin’s moisture barrier.

The moisturizer contains shea butter, vitamin E and ceramides.

Trader Joe’s affordable imitation is a day and night cream instead of a mask and cream combo.

Manuka honey and ceramides are among the well-known ingredients that soften the skin.

The product retails for $7.99 and comes in a similar hexagonal jar as Farmacy’s two varieties.

Many people praised the Redditor for sharing the Trader Joe’s dupe and said they’d love to try it out.

Shoppers found a perfect replica of a $150 Pottery Barn plate and bowl set. Plus, Dollar Tree has matching mugs.

Dollar Tree also had dupes for the Starbucks cups that went viral.

Customers found counterfeits of Home Depot’s $39 outdoor solar lights.

Dollar Tree also has an imitation of The Pink Stuff cleaning paste.

The excitement over the Farmacy dupe started after TikToker Angie (@angiestable) went viral with her Trader Joe’s purchase.

She said the store sells several products that resemble more expensive beauty brands.

Their Watermelon Overnight Face Mask costs $6.99, while Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment costs $40 at Sephora.

Trader Joe’s Vanilla Lip Mask costs $5.99 and is a knockoff of Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask for $24.

She also found products similar to Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Body Scrub and Retinol Remix at Trader Joe’s.
