Forgotten Man Utd flop Bebe joins NINTH club since bizarre Old Trafford transfer after ripping up previous contract

MANCHESTER UNITED played a terrible game against Liverpool, losing 3-0.

Casemiro played so badly that he was taken off the field at half-time.

But were there also positive performances at Old Trafford?

André Onana – 5
He could do nothing about Liverpool’s goals and saved a few shots to prevent the score from increasing further.

Noussair Mazraoui – 5
Came close to scoring in the first half and looked solid enough against Diaz, although he did pop up too high for Liverpool’s opener.

Matthijs de Ligt – 4
He gave Diaz and Domink Szobozslai all the space they needed to open the scoring, but a mistake from Casemiro left him in a difficult position.

Yellow card for a shocking tackle on Diaz.

Lisandro Martinez – 3
Diaz missed the second goal, allowing the Colombian to score freely from the penalty spot.

He also gave the ball away too easily and was not tight enough with his marking.

Diogo Dalot-4
Caught coming up too quickly for the first goal and didn’t do enough to stop Mo Salah’s cross in the build-up to Liverpool’s second.

Looked dangerous at times in attack, but not enough as he had to do a lot of defensive work as Rashford couldn’t keep up with Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Casemiro-2
A horror show in the first half as he gave the ball away just before both Liverpool goals.

He was caught on the ball for the second after a shocking misplaced pass that left his defence vulnerable for the opening goal. Hooked at half-time.

Kobbie Mainoo-4
Fell victim to the Casemiro curse when he was forced into a terrible position off the ball, allowing Liverpool to easily score a third goal.

Bruno Fernandes-5
Was United’s most creative spark, but that’s not saying much. Tried to get his team going in the first half, but seemed to lack ideas and inspiration after the break.

Alejandro Garnacho-4
Still seems a bit rusty and has yet to reach the level he reached last season.

Marcus Rashford-3
The out-of-form attacker has not won anything at all and will probably not get any more chances before being thrown out.

Joshua Zirkzee – 4
Quiet up front and also little influence on the flanks, but missed a clear-cut chance with his head and should have headed in a cross from Rashford, which he met at the far post.

Subtitles
Tom Collyer (for Casemiro, HT) – 5
It was a tough game for the youngster to make his Premier League debut, but he persevered and won a couple of tackles.

Harry Maguire (for De Ligt, 69 minutes) – 5
Liverpool eased off the gas and got the defence moving again.

Amad (for Garnacho, 69 minutes) – 5
Provided a spark on the right side and looked livelier than Garnacho.

Christian Eriksen (for Zirkzee, 86 min) – N/A
Not long enough to have an impact.
