Evaluating the Top International Prospects in the NBA Draft Class of 2025

The 2025 NBA Draft has already built a reputation for itself, largely based on its crop of talented collegiate prospects. But its roster of international talent also holds up well against other drafts.

Here are just some of the top international prospects in the 2025 NBA Draft class:

Nolan Traore, Saint Quentin

A point guard with a solid mix of skill and athleticism, Traore is probably the most talked about international prospect at the moment.

He is the next in line of French talents to conquer the NBA. He will use his agile ball skills to reach the rim, surprise his teammates with his sharp passes and he will continue to improve his jump shooting.

The ’25 class features a number of talented point guards and Traore plays an important role in that with his production.

Rocco Zikarsky, Brisbane

Zikarsky’s game is characterised by his 7ft 1in frame, which makes him ideally suited to being an Australian two-way force.

For now, he’s getting easy offense around the rim, but appears to have the touch and skill to expand on that down the road. Defensively, he’ll join a laundry list of 7-footers to come through the draft ranks in recent years. He can be overwhelming in the paint and should be highly ranked on boards based on his rim protection alone.

Hugo Gonzalez, Real Madrid

Gonzalez is a 1.98m Spanish winger with a nice mix of skills, and teams will be looking to mould him into a specific role.

He’s solid athletic, has a nice frame and some ball skills, but doesn’t have a strong identity on offense yet, especially as a jump shooter. Defensively, his motor takes him far.

Gonzalez will certainly attract attention for his size, touch and scoring ability, but could also be selected highly for his potential.
