Three Leicester City transfers the club can still complete

Leicester City are currently exploring the market for free agents to strengthen their squad.

The recently promoted side lost manager Enzo Maresca and midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea this summer.

They have since replaced the manager with Steve Cooper, while also bringing in defence and midfield players to cope with the tough Premier League life.

They were unable to complete all their business and are therefore expected to re-enter the market in January to add more players.

However, with the summer transfer window now over and the January transfer window still four months away, they could bring in free agents to fill the gaps in their squad.

According to Leicestershire Live, they could consider the following three players to help address their issues.

Patrick van Aanholt

With Victor Kristiansen and Luke Thomas being Cooper’s only options at left-back, they are in dire need of an addition in that area of ​​the defence.

Cooper has neglected the left-back position all summer, but he could now change that if he swaps Van Aanholt.

Yusuf Yazici

He is a versatile player who can play in several positions in the attacking part of the field.

Yazici is available as a free agent and interest from Premier League clubs for his services is increasing by the day.

The player represented Turkey at the 2024 European Championship and it is still a surprise that he is still without a club.
