Sam reported from the Sydney Tramway Museum in Loftus, in Sydney’s south.

The much-loved TV star was chatting to schoolchildren at Loftus Public when he paused during the cross to share a sweet message with his baby daughter.

“A quick shoutout to my beautiful daughter Margot, who turns two today,” Sam said.

“She’s probably watching Peppa Pig,” he added.

Sam has two children with his stylist Rebecca James: Margot and their youngest daughter, Mabel, who was born in August this year.

Mac announced the birth at the time in an adorable Instagram post, which featured Mabel cuddling with Rebecca.

“It’s a girl again! We are so excited to welcome Mabel August McMillan (born last night 8/14/24) into the world,” Mac wrote.

“It is my destiny to be surrounded by beautiful women! A big contrast to my high school years.”

“Bec was our warrior again, Mabel was lovely and plump and relaxed, and now we’re all taking a breather before Hurricane Margot passes by to meet her little sister later tonight.”

In March last year, Sam reflected on the way parenthood had changed him during an interview with TV Week.

“I always knew I wanted to be a father. But I was getting a little older (in age) and it hadn’t happened yet, so there was a little bit of doubt whether it would happen,” he said.

“Then I met Bec (in 2020) and luckily we were both on the same wavelength. It happened quite quickly, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
