1x Gold, 3x Silver: 4 Ostschweizer Berufs-Champions glasses and the WorldSkills Lyon 2024

The WorldSkills Lyon 2024 is one of the goals that exist – and was followed as follows by the Weltmeisterschaften in the training of the Swiss delegation. The SwissSkills National Team did not win Gold Medals, but the Silver Medals won a Bronze Medal and was named “Top 3 in the world” and “Best nation in Europe”. The Schweiz achieved one of the best results during the WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan.

The Result überzeugen! Even more brilliant are the Swiss talents and the WorldSkills and the expansion of the excellence of the Einheimische Berufsbildungssystemen in the international Vergleich. The 45-member SwissSkills National Team war in 41 Skills (Wettkämpfen) started and ended 15 months ago – it’s gold, the silver is a bronze. Damit is Switzerland’s «Top 3 in the world» and «Best nation in Europe». The Technical Delegierte, Martin Erlacher, said to himself: “I am incredibly proud of our 45 Wettkämpferinnen und Wettkämpfer. Darüber achieved 21 «Medallions for Excellence» – he received his 8th diploma at the WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan. Two of the 15 medals of WorldSkills were developed for the following «Exhibition Skills»: the gold medal of Sophie Schumacher is the silver medal of Felix Kuster.

The team of Edward Booth and Philippe Dourassov (Skill Cyber ​​​​Security) took home the highest punk award, the “Best of Nation”.

With this shower of medals, the result of the WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan (5x gold, 5x silver, 6x bronze) can be equalized.
