Pacer train ready to enter service at Shropshire Railway

Former Northern Class 142, 142055, will enter service for the first time since its preservation phase in 2020.

The new home for 142055 is the Cambrian Heritage Railway in Oswestry in Shropshire.

Services are expected to run every 30 minutes between 11am and 4pm on 6 October. Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for children.

Trains run from Llynclys, but there are no services between Oswestry and Weston Wharf.
