Xilam Films’ epic family film Lucy Lost sets course with Gebeka International, Le Pacte and Canal+ on board Page 1

French animation company nominated for an Academy Award Xilam films (Paris:XIL) has found new partners for its upcoming ambitious family film Lucy Lostbased on the award-winning 2014 novel by award-winning author and former British Children’s Prize winner Michael Morpurgo Listen to the moon.

Gebeka International, a Hildegarde Goodfellas company (The boy and the heron, Spirited Away), has come on board to handle international sales, while Le Pacte (Kensuke’s Kingdom,
Panda bear in Africa) will distribute the film theatrically in France, and French broadcasters Canal+ and Cine+ have acquired the pay-TV rights. After a successful debut on Cartoon Movie earlier this year, Lucy Lost Production is now underway with delivery scheduled for March 2026.
