8EHH from Berlin-Kreuzberg is a semi-coastal nylon-punk trio with the three music styles Powerviolence-Folk, Cacophony and Bindungsangst. Play Wanderguitarren-Hardcore with Fuzz and Driver for the three big “A’s” in the S-Bahn-Gürtel: Alleinerziehende, Alcoholiker and Allergic… and for all Heiter-Depressiven.

Everything is there, everything suits the band: One beat, one with a distinctive name, one very striking song, one after the other, songs between euphoria, melancholy and energy, with their hand-written lyrics, T-shirt collection quotes.

My music ignores the rules of punk, folk and songwriter. Everything handmade with tricks and effects, but Spiralgalaxien finds unplugged-patina and lagerfeuer-pathos: new things, no schneller and punk-affiner takaktet. The world and the problem that occurs, are getting bigger and bigger and man must move with the times. And “wer pennt, kommt in Zement.”
