Liverpool willing to pay €120m for Florian Wirtz

Liverpool are very interested in German midfielder Florian Wirtz.

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has made a name for himself with his performances in the Bundesliga and helped Bayer Leverkusen to the league title last season.

Wirtz has established himself as one of the best young players in world football, scoring 18 goals last season. The German midfielder also picked up 20 assists along the way. He is versatile enough to operate as a number ten and as a winger.

Liverpool could certainly use more creativity and goalscoring potential in their squad and the 21-year-old would be a good investment in the long run. According to a report by journalist Diego Mengual, Liverpool are determined to secure his services and are willing to do anything for him. The report claims that Liverpool would be willing to spend a club record fee of around €120 million on the player.

Will Liverpool sign Florian Wirtz in 2025?

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool make an offer for the German midfielder in the coming months. A January move seems unlikely and it is reasonable to assume that the Reds will have to wait until the summer transfer window to complete the deal. Leverkusen do not want to lose a key player like him halfway through the season.

Liverpool are hoping to win big trophies in the coming seasons and they need to sign top class players to make that happen. Wirtz is an elite talent and he has all the attributes to develop into a world class player. He could transform Liverpool in the future and help them win big trophies in the near future.

The chance to move to the Premier League is also very exciting for the 21-year-old, and he could even be tempted to join Liverpool.
