Mitglied the central stands of Siemens AG and ehem. President of the German Physikalischen Gesellschaft, zum Thema „Who best does Spitzenforschung in Deutschland im globalen Wettbewerb? Ziele – Finanzierung – Umsetzung – Verwertung“. The initiative is one of the Ministers for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Arbeit des Landes Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Reinhard Meyer.
