Collision with truck – 63-year-old dies after accident on the Westautobahn

On Tuesday at 15:48, a 56-year-old German was driving his road train on the A1, municipality of Ansfelden, on the first of three lanes coming from St. Pölten towards Salzburg. A 63-year-old man from the Kirchdorf district was driving his car in the second lane, overtook the road train and for unknown reasons drove over the right lane onto the hard shoulder, where he crashed into the side of the road train after a short drive.
