Ex-Roma man Jeremy Menez announces his retirement

Former Roma striker Jeremy Menez calls it a career.

The French striker, who played for Roma between 2008 and 2011, announced his decision to retire in a French program.

In a video published by journalist Jonathan Beilin, the Frenchman explained his decision, motivated by a strong feeling of physical and mental exhaustion.

“I have reached the limit of my endurance,” said Menez, who has been without a team in recent months after the expiry of his contract with Bari last March.

During his three years at Roma, Menez scored twelve goals in over a hundred appearances for the club before joining PSG on a three-year contract until 2014.
