Rajasthan: Several students of classes 5 and 8 are not receiving exam slips after four months of results

Students who appeared for the Rajasthan RBSE 5th and 8th board exams have not yet received their exam marks. These exams were conducted from March 28 to May 4 and the results were released by the board on May 30. Even after four months of the declaration of results, several students have not received their exam marks.

Students of classes 5 and 8 will probably have to wait another month for the mark sheet. The main reason for this is non-printing of mark sheets by the Registrar Education Departmental Office in Bikaner. It is expected to take more than a month from printing the mark sheets to distributing them and sending them through the nodal school.

In the session 2023-2024, as many as 26.86 lakh students of the state had appeared for the exams of class 5 and 8. Of these, 90,766 students from Sikar district are suffering the consequences of not clearing the mark sheet. About 45,031 students of class 5 and 45,735 students of class 8 are waiting for their mark sheets.

Candidates make rounds at the district office and school for mark sheets for admission to the next class as for admission to the next class a copy of the mark sheet has to be submitted to the school.

It should be noted that after the 5th and 8th exams, students go to other schools and get admission. In such a situation, they have to submit a copy of the board class mark sheet upon admission. Since they are not getting a copy of passing the board exam, the students are now facing a lot of problems. Even after months, the mark sheet has not reached the students. However, several schools accept students through online transcripts.
