Recently, a netizen on Xiaohongshu shared that they encountered Tony Leung and his wife Carina Lau at Hong Kong International Airport.

In the video posted by the netizen, Tony, 62, was seen pushing his luggage towards the gate of Cathay Pacific.

“Random meeting at the airport, we’re going to Bangkok together,” the netizen wrote.

The video then shows Carina, 57, and Tony already in their seats in the Business Class cabin as the same netizen walks past them.

As Carina played with the onboard entertainment screen, Tony was seen taking a magazine out of his bag and adjusting his seat as other passengers waved excitedly at him.

Tony, who is known for his social anxiety, seemed quite uncomfortable at this point. He simply nods and smiles through tight lips before looking down at his magazine.

To be honest, given their fame, we expected Tony and Carina to sit in First Class as it offers more privacy. Was that option not available for the flight?

Netizens said they could feel how uncomfortable Tony was, with one complaining that he was “so cold”.
