Kew High School in Melbourne went into lockdown due to ‘verbal threats’

A Melbourne high school has been put on lockdown for “alleged verbal threats”.

Kew High School in East Kew – in the east of the city – went into lockdown around 2pm.

No one was injured.

The action was taken “out of an abundance of caution following alleged verbal threats”, Victoria Police said.
