Yantra India Limited, located in Ambajhari, Nagpur, will invite online applications from Indian citizens for the engagement of the 58th batch of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and its amendments. It has released recruitment for ITI and non-ITI apprenticeships. The company has issued a short notice for 4039 vacancies in various ordnance factories at various stages in India.

The application process will start soon when the online portal opens in the last week of October. Candidates must visit the official website of Yantra India Limited to proceed with the process. There are 1463 messages available for the Non-ITI category and 2576 messages available for the Ex-ITI/ITI category. This initiative is in line with the Government of India’s flagship programme, the Skill India Mission, which promotes skill development across the country.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For the Non-ITI category, candidates must pass the Class 10th examination of a recognized board and obtain minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate and minimum 40 percent marks in Mathematics and Science.
  2. For ITI category, candidates must pass the Class 10th exam from a recognized board and must possess ITI in the relevant branch, NCVT/SCVT. Candidates must achieve an overall score of at least 50 percent.

Age limit:

The minimum age for the candidates applying for these posts is 14 to 18 years, while the maximum age is 35 years. According to the rules, age relaxation is allowed.

Selection process:

The selection process for commerce apprentices at Yantra India Limited involves a merit-based evaluation. Candidates are shortlisted based on their educational qualifications, especially their marks in the examinations. Those selected will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the health standards required for internship placements.
