Celebrities should pay off victims to avoid exposure

The attorney for the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs said some celebrities are paying victims so they will not be named in the explosive lawsuit.

Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the 120 victims in the class action lawsuit, explained TMZ that his team fired off application letters to many A-list celebrities who were at the infamous Diddy freak-off parties to quietly settle things down.

“If you attended one of these parties (…) and you had been there before, or you knew what was going to happen – that is, you knew that a certain drug was being used in drinks that were coercing and abusing people – and you were there in the room or you participated or you saw it happen and didn’t say anything or you helped cover it up, in my opinion you have a problem.

Buzbee said there are a plethora of celebrities who watched, participated or knew what was happening in the back rooms and did nothing.

“All these individuals have exposure here,” he said. “Who will be named, when they will be named, that will all come out in due time.”

Buzbee warns that if the celebrities who participated in the freak-offs don’t settle privately, they will be publicly exposed.

“In every single case, especially cases like this, we gather our data, we gather our evidence, we do our due diligence, we spend time with the victim, and because it’s in the best interest of the victim, we try to resolve cases without filing a public lawsuit, and we have already done that,” he said.
