Woman and teen were allegedly stabbed by a group of armed men in Gulfview Heights

Three people have been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing at a home in Adelaide’s north-east in the early hours of the morning.

Police said they were called to a home on Nelson Road in Gulfiew Heights about 3.45am on Wednesday after reports that a group of armed men had entered the property and stabbed two residents.

A 53-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, while a third person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries after being attacked, police said.

Senior Constable Kimberley Broad told ABC Radio Adelaide that the group of men allegedly involved in the home invasion left the house in a car that was last seen driving onto Yulinda Terrace.

“The investigation is still in its early stages, but police do not believe this is a random incident,” she said.

Police have urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
