A look at Makazole Mapimpi’s German fleet

Springbok players Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo AM are at the top of the trends after receiving Mercedes-Benz C63 SEs from the German car.

The cars were custom built at their famous East London factory, where Nelson Mandela’s custom S-Class was built in 1990.

Mercedes-Benz rewards ‘friends of the brand’ with C63 SEs

No doubt their gifts come barely a year after they join a host of celebrated athletes and celebrities who are “friends of the brand.”

Some notable names working with the German car include Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, Grammy award-winning star Zakes Bantwini and his wife Nandi Madida.

Makazole Mapimpi and Lukhanyo AM joined the group last year. Makazole Mapimpi was assigned to the automotive division, while Lukhanyo AM was assigned to the financial services team.

Against the news, Makazole Mapimpi has confirmed the news with a series of Instagram posts.

Makazole Mapimpi wrote: “In 1990, Mercedes-Benz SA presented an S-Class to Tata Rholihlahla Mandela, which was made by the employees of the East London factory.

“As we celebrate 30 years of democracy, Mercedes Benz SA has since made their second handover by giving myself and my brother @lukhanyoam an S-class made especially for us by the workers in my hometown. Ndiyabulela @mercedesbenzsa.”

The latest addition has no doubt had many trying to gain insight into its impressive fleet, which reportedly costs a fortune.

Against the trends, The South African has connected the dots on Makazole Mapimpi’s cars, from its R1.2 million GLE to its new Mercdes-Benz C63 SE.

R1.2 MILLION MERCEDES-BENZ GLE

Last year, Makaloze Mapimpi made headlines when he added some big wheels to a fleet of German cars with a Mercedes-Benz GLE. The car has a base price of R1.2 million.

R1.3 MILLION MERCEDES-BENZ C43

The Springboks star undoubtedly has a soft spot for German cars and has a fleet that shows it. Makazole Mapimpi also owns a Mercedes-Benz C43.

At various dealers in South Africa, the base price of the car, depending on equipment and extras, is R1.3 million.

R4 MILLION MERCEDES-BENZ G-WAGON

Makazole Mapimpi reportedly owns a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. He has been spotted driving the German beast several times.

Over the years, he has shared several photos of his rumored black G-Wagon on Instagram.

However, if the car is his, he will join a host of A-listers who own the German beast, with a base price tag of R4 million depending on year of manufacture and finish.

BMW

However, Makazole Mapimpi also reportedly owns a BMW. The Springbok star once posted a photo of the car on his Instagram.
