Sieger beim Kinderbuch wurde der Novel “Wolf” by Saša Stanišićs from the Hamburger Carlsen Verlag. Preis für Lebenswerk receives an Übersetzer Rolf Erdorf

Vier Büchern in the Sparten Bilder-, Kinder-, Jugend- and Sachbuch won the Übersetzerin Astrid Bührle-Gallet in the Category “New Talent” and of the Jugendjury Alice Winn’s historical novel “Durch das große Feuer” and the Übersetzer Rolf Erdorf für sein Lebenswerk ausgezeichnet, wie der Arbeitskreis für Jugendliteratur Mitteilte. Erdorf hat rund 200 Title from the Dutch in German übertragen. There is a good tone, which is assessed by the jury and can find a “Ubersetzer craft in full form”.

The German Jugendliteraturpreis has been for Children’s and Jugendbücher since 1956. An amount of 72,000 euros has been paid. Die Preise wurden am Freitabend von Ministerin Lisa Paus (Grüne) in Frankfurt am Main übergeben.
