Achievement “A Vision Unfolding”: 3pm Sunday, Niwot High School, 8989 Niwot Road, Niwot. The Longmont Chorale will premiere the brand new piece “A Vision Unfolding,” an extraordinary five-movement choral work by composer Kyle Pederson and spoken word artist Shanelle Gabriel, in Colorado. This unique and powerful musical journey combines spoken word elements between each movement and lyrics from several poets, including Langston Hughes and Walt Whitman, with multiple musical styles, including gospel and blues elements, as well as a unique instrumental accompaniment for choral arrangements. The first part of the concert will include additional pieces of wonder, curiosity and joy, as well as a performance by the wonderful singers of the Boulder Children’s Chorale.
