IHSA Class 2A Charleston Regional Semifinal

Centennial 5, Charleston 0. Nemo McKissick And Isaac Ramos scored twice and Lucas Pianfetti added an own goal to help the top-seeded Chargers (12-7-2) – who had 45 shots on goal and scored four times in the opening period – defeat the ninth-seeded Trojans on Charleston’s home court.

IHSA Class 2A Urbana Regional Semifinal

Mahomet-Seymour 3, Mount Zion 2. The second-seeded Bulldogs (14-7-2) earned a victory over the seventh-seeded Braves to extend their bid for their second consecutive Class 2A regional title.

Urbana 7, Danville 0. Home field advantage favored the third-seeded Tigers (11-8-1), who easily defeated the sixth-seeded Vikings (7-12-4) to set up a regional title fight against Mahomet-Seymour on Friday.

IHSA Class 1A Hoopeston Area Regional Finals

Oakwood/Salt Fork 6, Georgetown-Ridge Farm 0. Top-seeded Oakwood/Salt Fork (22-3) had no problem against the sixth-seeded Buffaloes (6-10), with Ethan Merritt register a hat-trick, Macen Philips scoring twice and Mason Swartz scoring once on the way to a regional plaque. Mat darling saved eleven shots for the Buffaloes, while Jacob Rupp had five saves for O/SF.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin 2, Zoutvork 0. Travel McFarland total 14 murders, Macy Danner 20 excavations collected and Mallory Pekels collected 18 assists and seven kills to lead the host Blue Devils (19-6) past the Storm (14-11) in a 25-19, 28-26 VVC match.

The Timberwolves (29-3) defeated the Warriors (24-7) in a 25-14, 25-21 Vermilion Valley Conference decision thanks to 11 assists from Mady Marcot10 assists from Ella Schlüter and eight murders each Addison Air And Josie Neukommwho added eight digs to help the winning cause. Christa Holohan had nine assists for the Warriors, who also got 10 digs from Noelle Schroeder.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm 2, Hoopeston Area 0. Four kills and an ace of Layla Berk and four murders each Brylie Cox And Addy Kelnhofer ran against the Cornjerkers (8-20) in a 25-10, 25-23 loss to the Buffaloes (15-12) in Vermilion Valley Conference play.

Unity Christian 2, Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 1. A close Lincoln Prairie Conference match tilted in favor of the host Lions, with the Knights (22-8) falling 25-22, 24-26, 25-15 despite 12 kills and 25 assists from Savannah Butcher, eight kills from Bella Rominenine excavations Karaline Vanausdoll and seven digs each Annabelle Vanausdoll And Sara HerschbergeR.

Westville 2, Armstrong Potomac 0. Eleven murders of Ella Molenaar10 kills Maddy Doggett and 25 assists from Lainey Wichtowski helped the Tigers (31-2) set a program record for wins in a 25-16, 25-10 VVC victory against the host Trojans (14-15-1). Armstrong-Potomac led with 10 assists Carly Granteight excavations of Makenna Ackerman and four murders Tinley Parkerson.
