Danny Trejo shares his bucket list item involving Taylor Swift

Swifties come in all shapes and sizes, including, apparently, Machete star Danny Trejo.

“My bucket list item is wearing a shirt that says, ‘I’m a Swiftie, what about that?’ and just walk around,” Trejo, 80, revealed exclusively in his 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me in the latest edition of We weeklyon newsstands now. “I don’t even know her, but I’m so proud of her Taylor Swift. She makes so much money. Have you seen how hard that little girl works? I love the work ethic, you know what I mean?

Trejo added, “And she also has time to go to a soccer game. I don’t have time to go to a game!”

The actor – whose new horror film, Seven cemeteriesis now available digitally and on demand – is full of unexpected anecdotes, including his surprising first job.

“My first job was armed robbery,” he said Us. “I was looking for a pill dealer. I worked as a handyman, but I was hired so I could watch my boss’s trailer because he was selling pills.”

However, that job ended very quickly when his boss got into trouble with law enforcement.

“His name was Whitey and he wouldn’t have been arrested, but he wasn’t home when the police raided his house,” Trejo added. ‘I saw them coming and I knocked on his door to tell him, but he wasn’t home so they just waited for him. The funny thing is, I met him in prison about four months later. I said, ‘Hey, you should have given me your phone number. I would have called you!’”

1. I like working on cars. My first job was working at a salvage yard.

2. It became too hard to go to the gym because all I did was sign autographs, and it’s hard to work out with someone standing over you, but I’ll do it. I put a gym in my house so I can workout whenever I want, and this kind works better. I’m in pretty good shape! My favorite workout is bench press, arms and legs.

We were just ‘bad kids’. And yet there were some kids in there who were so smart, but couldn’t stop walking or mumbling. I remember telling my daughter that she had not been diagnosed. But everyone says, ‘What makes you think we like being with you? Because you can’t sit still!”

12. My favorite book is Straight time Through Edward Bunker.

13. I’ve only done karaoke once and I sang ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ Johnny Cash.

14. The actors I looked up to (as a kid) were John Wayne And Clint Eastwood. They were so cool, and at that time there weren’t that many Latino stars.

15. I can’t leave the house without my cross necklace, my wallet and a nice pair of shoes. I love a Ferragamo loafer.

23. My favorite project I did was Machete. I would love that character (Isador “Machete” Cortez) even if I wasn’t in the movie.

24. I just looked Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1. It was so sad and heartbreaking.

25. Everyone always says, “I thought you were taller,” and I (answer), “Well, I was tall enough to kiss Jessica Alba (in Machete).”
