Democrats are looking at a new strategy after Trump’s victory

The Democratic Party appears to be in limbo after an unexpected election victory by the Republican Party; The Republicans won back the White House with the re-election of Donald Trump, and they will also control the House of Representatives and the US Senate. This Republican trifecta means that for the first time since 2019, Democrats will no longer control any branch of government.

While Democrats have been pointing fingers since the loss of Vice President Kamala Harris, many within the party are looking for a new path forward. According to most experts, there appears to be a two-pronged strategy: opposing President-elect Trump while looking for ways to win back working-class voters who largely shunned the Democratic Party at the ballot box.
