Waldshut-Tiengen: Förderpreis der Volksbank-Hochrhein-Stiftung becomes a young music talent

Three talented young music players were presented with 3,000 euros in prizes for the Volksbank-Hochrhein-Stiftung at a prestigious concert in the Kirche Mariä Himmelfahrt in Tiengen. The preisträgern was born at the age of 21 to Lucia Kaiser from Todtmoos, who studied at the Musikhochschule für Dresden in 2021, the 25-year-old Sarah Schmidt from Lauchringen, who died at the Lehramt study in Freiburg Musik and Theology , and 22-year-old Simon Eckert from Rickenbach, der an der Hochschule in Köln Musik und Tanz studyrt.

Musiker zegen music program

The power of Sarah Schmidt, who graced the public with song and Querflöte and auslöste at the Zuhörern Gänsehaut. Am Flügel wurde sie von Vincent Knüppe begleitet. The music program consists of “Le Paon” by Maurice Ravel, a concertino for flute by Cécile Chaminade and the “4. Waltz” by John Rutter.

Lucia Kaiser, who played the Minkyo Song on Flügel, plays a concertino for clarinette and orchestra by Carl Maria von Weber. Lucia Kaiser shines on the clarinette with a multifaceted sound spectrum. The Sonata for Clarinette and Clavier by Johannes Brahms was powerfully and brilliantly played by both musicians.

Today’s Jazz festival is Simon Eckert with his Trumpet, accompanied by Korbinian Kugler in the Kontrabass. With the title „I’ll Be Seeing You“ by Sammy Fain, a real earworm, Eckert set his own musical passion. “On Green Dolphin Street” by Bronistow Kaper, a great work of art, said the music in his Element. Ins Schwarze was hit with “Body And Soul”, by John W. Green, a brand new piece.
