A 29-year-old Kingston woman was arrested and charged with three counts of drug possession with intent to traffic.

According to police, the seizure prevented the distribution of more than 12,000 doses of fentanyl and helped stem the flow of toxic drugs into the community.

The suspect is being held pending a bail hearing.
