Liebe Künstler*innen en Akteur*innen des FAVORITEN Festivals 2024,

This is what we want: in a week that we will go to Festivalausgabe 2024! Here you will find information about the program, hotel, hotel and the playlist.

TRAVEL AND RESEARCH
The FAV found a 7 of 9 days in Depot Dortmund statt, Dorthin is dependent on the U41 direction Brambau/Brechten.
Explanation means:

Ben Sunday 8.9. meet with us in the Museum für Kunst- und Kulturgeschichte im MKK (Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte), and visit the Bahnhof.

Ben Friday 13.9. ist “In meiner Haut” in Vereinsheim Hafenwiese gleich at Depot zu sehen. We would like to meet you at 4:30 PM to meet together at the Depot.

Ben Sunday 15.9. kicking with gemeinsam on the Fußballturnier on Platz des FC Roj, gegenüber vom Depot.

If an overnight stay is planned, it is time to stay in MOXY Dortmund, near the Bahnhofs. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out until 12:00 and Frühstück geht auf uns.

Before you can go to Depot, MKK and FC Roj Catering. As an Artist*in, there is a free Artist*in Catering.

Dear artists and participants of the FAVORITEN Festival 2024,

Here we are: only 7 days to go until we meet for FAVORITES 2024! This email brings you information about the program, hotel, locations and our opening playlist.

Under the motto (UN)LEARNING FOR POSSIBLE FUTURES and with a diverse programme of performance, dance, installation, workshops and discourse formats, the festival aims to question the ‘normal’, rearrange learned knowledge, create space for diverse voices and enable other interrelations. FAVORITEN presents outstanding works and possibilities from the independent scene of NRW for a young and adult audience in the Depot and other locations in Dortmund, as well as in the digital festival media library. The festival brings together artists, activists and committed players – from NRW and from a national and international context. In addition, the international residency programme (UN)LEARNING DISTANCES tests (re)learning on a global level with nine artists. (UN)LEARNING THEATRE & CRISIS uses podcasts and a symposium to answer the question of how we can artistically address crises. Finally, the OST-WEST / WEST-OST Werkstatt uses art, discourse and football to conduct a nationwide dialogue on strengthening culture and democracy.

We are excited to have you join us for this year’s FAVORITEN festival and are very much looking forward to the festival from September 5th to 15th!

ARRIVAL AND ACCOMMODATION
On most festival days, the FAV takes place at the Dortmund depot; you can get there by taking the U41 towards Brambau/Brechten.
Exceptions are:

On Sunday September 8th We meet at the MKK (Museum of Art and Cultural History), near Dortmund Central Station.

On Friday September 13 “In meiner Haut” can be seen in the Vereinsheim Hafenwiese right next to the depot. If you want, you can meet us at the depot at 16:30 to go to the clubhouse together.

Sunday September 15: Let’s play football together at the football tournament on the FC Roj field, right across from the depot.

If an overnight stay has been arranged, you will be accommodated at the MOXY Dortmund, right by the train station. Check-in is from 15:00, check-out until 12:00 and breakfast is on us.

CATERING
There is catering on location at Depot, MKK and FC Roj. As an artist you receive free artist catering.

OPENING PLAYLIST
At the opening we will play a playlist that should get the audience in the right mood. Feel free to add your favorite songs too!

We want you to see as many plays as possible at the festival! For free tickets, Please send your requests collectively before September 2 to: [email protected]
Of course, you can also come to events spontaneously if there are still places available – it is safer to make a reservation.

Guest cards for own production:
For your own production, each participating person will receive a guest ticket. If you have multiple performance dates, you will only have a +1 ticket for one date of your choice. Please send a bundle list to [email protected] before September 2nd. We do not need to know the names of your guests; the tickets will be issued in your name.

EARLY ON BOARD:
We are happy to offer EARLY BOARDING, i.e. earlier access to the course, as part of the accessibility. Please let us know by email to Cosmo Clanc if this is possible for your production! [email protected]
