Jonathan Bailey is a hot geek chic in first photos from the new ‘Jurassic World’ movie

Universal has released the first images from the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth. It is the seventh film in the Jurassic World franchise, following Jurassic World Dominion until 2022.

The film may be of particular interest to queer filmgoers, as it stars Jonathan Bailey. The 36-year-old British actor is best known for his roles in Bridgeton and last year’s Fellow travelers with Matt Bomer.

The film also stars Scarlett Johansson and Mahershala Ali. Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Creator) directs. David Koepp, who wrote the original Jurassic World film, wrote the script.

The official Jurassic World X account shared some teaser images.

Paleontologist

Variety states that the film will be set five years after its release Jurassic World DominionAccording to Universal, “the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs.

“The survivors live in isolated equatorial environments with climates similar to those in which they once thrived. The three most colossal beings within that tropical biosphere hold the key to a medicine that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humanity.”

Johannsen plays Zora Bennett, “who is hired to lead the team that extracts DNA from the three most gigantic dinosaur species still alive. Ali plays Zora’s partner, Duncan Kincaid.”

Bailey “plays a paleontologist named Dr. Henry Loomis.”

Bailey reshared the images on his own Instagram, along with a title reveal posted by Universal. His post has racked up nearly half a million likes.

Among those who expressed their excitement was GMAGio Benitez responded with a series of dinosaur emojis.

Another fan said: “I’ve never seen a Jurassic Park movie but I’m in for Skippy!!!”

Skippy was the nickname of Bailey’s character in Fellow travelers.

We still have some time for Jurassic World: Rebirth will not hit theaters until July 2, 2025.

He is front and center in the jewelry and eyewear brand’s fall-winter 24-25 campaign. Several somber, smoldering images, shot by Karim Sadli, have surfaced online in recent days.
