EDF estimates higher nuclear energy production in France for 2024

Thanks to the good industrial performance of French nuclear power plants, EDF is revising upwards its estimate of French nuclear power production for 2024. Initially estimated at 315-345 TWh, nuclear power production is now estimated at 340-360 TWh.¹.

This higher estimate of nuclear power generation is based on improved outage performance and industrial control of stress corrosion inspections and repairs, and the absence of major summer weather events.
