Eutelsat Group (ISIN: FR0010221234 – Euronext Paris / London Stock Exchange: ETL) today announced a groundbreaking partnership that will enable SoftBank Corp. (SoftBank) to integrate Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO (Low Earth Orbit) connectivity services into its offering.

The multi-year partnership will enable SoftBank to provide high-quality, robust bandwidth and communication speed-guaranteed service to customers including enterprises and government agencies, and in particular provide momentum for SoftBank’s satellite communications services. It will connect directly to SoftBank’s closed network service “SmartVPN” for extra-secure communications. The scope will initially focus on the Japanese market, with potential to expand to Japanese customers in other areas.
