Michigan State hockey team secures commitment from 4-star defender

Michigan State hockey coach Adam Nightingale has been very active on the recruiting front, consistently garnering commitments in the 2007 and 2008 recruiting classes. The Spartans have expanded their blue line through the recruiting ranks, reaching out to New York to sign Thomas Bleyl. The defenseman is a capable 5-foot-11, 160-pound blue liner in the 2007 recruiting class.

Bleyl is originally from Glenville, New York and played for Albany Academy last year. He will play for Cushing Academy next season. Puck Preps ranks the New York product as a 4-star prospect.
