New car brands from China start with Stellantis support

Another new car market in Germany: Leapmotor is launching a new model in 2024 – and other Chinese brands are loving it.

A new car market started in Europe: at the end of September Leapmotor came from China to Germany. First model of the Elektro-Kleinstwagen T03 – for camping price from 18,900 Euro.

Leapmotor is a Chinese market; the car group Stellantis (Opel, Peugeot, Citroën, Jeep, Maserati, Alfa Romeo and others) at 20 percent of the assets. The joint venture Leap Motor International has started the development of Stellantis on the European market. For a Leapmotor-gibt it is a clear strategic insight: the companies can rely on the existing dealer and workshop infrastructure of Stellantis, while other markets are a solches that just pull out the closet first.

Zurück zum T03: Der 3.62 meter long Fünftürer with 70 kW/95 PS with an Akku with 37.3 kWh Capazität. Die Reichweite soll bei 265 Kilometers lie and damn the Dacia Spring (from the Renault-Konzern, produced in China) Konkurrenz machen. It costs about 17,000 euros and comes with a mileage allowance of 225 kilometers.

After the market launch, new models have appeared: The compact SUV C10 will follow in November. The price is definitely higher here than the small car T03 and starts at 36,400 euros. At the Paris Motor Show (14 to 20 October 2024), the compact crossover B10 Premiere was introduced, which eliminated the C10 and started in the comings. Starting price: around 30,000 euros. For 2026 and 2027, the jewels have become a new new model.

Zunächst kommen die in Deutschland verkauften Fahrzeuge aus China, später könnte een Montage in de Polnische Stellantis-Werk Tichy anlaufen.
