Starfield Zealous Overreach quest guide: Zealot base location and what to do with Sahima and the hostages

If you decide to aid House Ka’Dic, Razma will task you with the crucial quest to locate Sahima and the other hostages. The location of the prisoners is shrouded in secrecy, leaving you with the responsibility to reveal it.

There are also a few impactful decisions you need to make here that could work for or against you. So if you need help with this goal, we’ll help you complete the Zealous Overreach mission in the Starfield shattered space DLC.

How to find the Zealot base in the Starfield Zealous Overreach mission

The best way to decipher the location of the Zealous base is by Convince Mirek Ka’Dic. He will tell you that Sahima and the hostages are in the Shadow Station Epsilon, which you can report back to Razma.

If you have not managed to convince, you will have to find the Zealous base location yourself. To do this, follow the waypoint to Mirek’s computer and use Digipicks to break into it. Select the Log 5.8 file to find out the destination of the base.

Check your star map to determine the location of the Zealot base. But before you go, talk to Djimal Ka’Dic to learn more about an intriguing offer. Go there to progress the mission and be wary of the hostile Zealots scattered throughout the area. If you want some cover, you can put their turrets on your side. Enter the building above the search point, where you should find the Turret Control.

Should you talk or kill Sahima in the Starfield Zealous Overreach mission

As you progress through the Starfield In the Zealous Overreach mission you are faced with a crucial decision: save Sahima or eliminate everyone there. Each choice carries significant consequences and rewards. Eliminating it join Djimal’s plan to cut ties with the Zealots and earn you 10,000 credits through her deal.

However, it is not the most compassionate route, as it involves the death of the hostages. Characters like Andreja will strongly disapprove of this path, and as a result, they may end up hating you. If you’re comfortable with a more morally ambiguous approach, this should be your choice.

By rescuing Sahima and the hostages, you get on everyone’s good side (for the most part). This route gives you 500 Credits (sent to parents), the Extended Mag Modified Va’Ruun Starstorm and 46 Heavy Particle Fuses. However, you will have some extra work to do as you will need to clear the caves and rescue the hostages. Most are easy to find with the quest waypoint, but two are quite hidden.

Starfield Zealous Overreach Hostage Locations

Those who decide to help the rest of the hostages must kill the opponents in the caves. As you might expect, it will be quite difficult to deal with, so try to keep your distance to maintain your health.

After dealing with the enemies, go to the right side, near the cave stairs. Open the door and find one of the hostages.

Start walking to the left to enter a building on the top floor. Enter to find the final hostage for the Zealous Overreach mission. Take the elevator downstairs to get out of there quickly.

You must then be present at the negotiations, and have Andreja with you on this point is advisable. As a member of House Va’ruun, she can help bring about a peaceful solution. But if you want some chaos, you’re more than welcome to attack everyone there.

You also have the option to claim 15,000 Credits from Razma if you want to increase your earnings. I found it best to just go the right route to avoid unnecessary conflict. Then use your ship’s waypoint to fast travel back to the main area. This concludes the Zealous Overreach mission and activates a new mission with Inaza Kaisir.
