Tyreek King is committed to Tennessee football as a four-star wide receiver in the class of 2026

Knox Catholic’s Tyreek King committed to Tennessee football on Thursday. He chose the Vols over offers from Alabama, Auburn and Michigan, among others.

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound receiver is a four-star wide receiver in the class of 2026 and the No. 120 player in the 2026 recruiting cycle, according to the 247sports Composite. He is the No. 3 recruit in Tennessee for his class.

King is Tennessee’s fifth commitment of the 2026 recruiting cycle. King visited UT this season for games against Kent State and Alabama.

Tyreek King joins Faizon Brandon in the Tennessee Football 2026 class

Five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon sparked Tennessee’s 2026 class when he committed in early August. Brandon is the No. 1 recruit in the country. The 6-4, 195-pound Brandon chose Tennessee over Alabama, LSU and North Carolina State to continue UT’s run on elite quarterbacks in recent recruiting classes.

Four-star tight end Carson Sneed was the second commit in the class. The Donelson Christian Academy product chose UT over Ohio State.

Four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson and three-star defensive lineman Tyson Bacon committed following Tennessee’s win against Alabama on Oct. 19. Anderson, a 6-4, 320-pounder from Kennesaw, Georgia, chose UT over a long list of SEC schools including Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Texas A&M. The 6-4, 255-pound Bacon, a native of Hoover, Alabama, chose Tennessee after receiving scholarship offers from Florida, Washington, Wisconsin and about a dozen other schools.
