Kenyan schoolgirl breaks down after father who worked in Bahrain for five years surprises her at school

What job did Ndichu hold in Bahrain?

In an interview with TUKO.co.kethe father, identified as Geoffrey Ndichu, said he had been away for five years and this was the first time he had seen his daughter.

“I worked as a supervisor at a security company… we don’t abandon them because we hate them; we do this to seek greener pastures,” the father of two said.

“It’s not easy to stay away from our children. She was over-excited after communicating through video calls for years and now it’s real. Daddy’s love,” Ndichu said.

Father happily reunites with daughter

Elsewhere, Michael Phiri, who lost his wife in a tragic bus accident, was happily reunited with his baby daughter; she survived the tragedy with minor injuries.

Along with the survivors, Phiri’s daughter was taken to Levy Mwanawasa Medical Hospital thanks to well-wishers.

Police worked with the hospital and the public to help reunite Phiri’s daughter with her concerned father.
