The Modi regime sees a five-fold increase in the number of ITR applicants with income above Rs 50 lakh; The tax burden of the middle class is falling

A source said that 76 percent of income tax collected comes from those earning more than Rs 50 lakh per year. This has led to a lower tax burden for the middle class.
