Taylor Corp. $485,000 401(k) Fees Settlement Receives Final Approval

Taylor Corp. and 401(k) plan participants received final court approval for a $485,000 class action settlement to end litigation over the printing and technology company’s retirement plan costs.

The settlement was negotiated remotely by counsel for the participants and arose “out of a genuine controversy between” the parties, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota ruled Thursday. The settlement will cover 12,000 plan participants and beneficiaries since February 2016.
