Das Summer-Dschungelcamp starts at 16. August on RTL. If you wish to have different options, you should also consider the candidates.

Dortmund – The summer shooting camp on RTL will continue for the tour and will be broadcast on a special staffel. Below the title “I am a star – Showdown of the Dschungel-Legenden” continues with the Teilnehmer ab dem August 16 at 8:15 PM zurück, um zu erneut the Herausforderungen des Camps. But that is slightly different: RTL has radically changed those rules.

Zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte des Formats wird das Dschungelcamp etwa nicht live ausgestrahlt. Stattdessen wurde die Staffel von „I am in a Star – Holt mich hier raus!“ (IBES) read before reading. That brings some changes in itself. Bisher were the Zuschauer, who per Telefonanruf entschieden haben, welcher Promi in die Dschungelprüfung muss und wer am Ende die gehrte Krone gewinnt. Dieser Einfluss entfällt im Summer 2024 fully.

Stattdessen liegt die Entscheidungsmacht über da Schicksal der Dschungelcamp-Teilnehmer in den Händen der Showmacher und teilweise sogar bei den Prominenten selbst. “Manchmal entscheiden wir, manchmal überlassen wir den Stars die Entscheidungen und in de Zweiten Woche gibt es sogar prüfungen, in den entschieden wird, wer im Camp bleiben darf, und weheimreise antreten muss”, erklärt Markus Küttner, RTL-Unterhaltungschef, in an interview with the German Press Agency.

These new rules could be used for further tension and coordination, so that the Camper could be removed immediately. “The many favorites of the Krone could be jetzt durch seine Mitcamper direkt rausgewählt”, says Küttner further. This results in a completely new dynamic and powerful format that is still unreachable.

20 Jahre Dschungelcamp on RTL – A Rückblick und new Herausforderungen

The report for these special staff is the 20-year anniversary of the formats, which was first published in 2004. Damals take care of the show and the production, it is a classic in German broadcasting.

However, there are new rules and regulations: The camp will not find anyone living in Australia, especially in South Africa, who will be able to produce a staff based on the Corona Pandemic until 2022. The regular Dschungelcamp-Staffel 2025 dared to be introduced in Australia.

The Summer Day Camp starts at 16. August on RTL and bereits einen Tag früher on RTL+. The fans could have a pack of staff with their loved ones.
